CRS320-8P-8B-4S+RM is the first switch from the MikroTik  that fully supports the 802.bt PoE++ and 802.3af/at/bt standards. The CRS320-8P-8B-4S+RM switch is built on the Marvel chipset, enabling hardware-implemented VLAN filtering and routing features. CRS320-8P-8B-4S+RM can power devices connected to it with up to 90 W per single port. The device is factory equipped with a 600 W power supply. If you need to increase the power budget of the entire device (up to a maximum of 1150 W), you can use the built-in socket to connect an additional PSU power supply Mikrotik G1483-0600WNB.

There are 17 Gigabit Ethernet ports: #1 - #8 Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3af/at PoE output, #9 - #16 802.bt PoE++ ports, and an additional Gigabit Ethernet port for management purposes. A console port and four 10G SFP+ fiber optic ports are also available for data transmission.

The switch enables powering both devices fully compliant with the 802.3af/at and 802.3bt PoE++ standards, as well as devices that partially implement the PoE standard. When connecting devices that do not fully comply with the standard, it is necessary to ensure galvanic isolation to avoid the formation of the so-called ground loops in the following configurations:

Case 1:

802.3af/at/bt devices, such as CRS504-4XQ-OUT, CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN, or CRS504-4XQ-IN, can be connected to ports marked 8B, but cannot be additionally powered by grounded power supplies.

Case 2: To power the device using passive PoE, use RBGPOE-CON-HPA grounded PSU can be used as a backup.

Case 3 - 

Special use cases of 802.3af/at for powering devices with non-isolated PoE:

•  Any grounded connections should be avoided.
• If grounding is required, use RBGPOE-CON-HP
• Grounded PSUs should not be connected to powered devices at the same time.
• None of the SFP, USB or RS232 ports must be grounded.
