hAP ax S – Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Router, 5x GbE, 2.5G SFP, Triple-Chain 5 GHz

The hAP ax S is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router operating in the 802.11ax standard, utilizing 2x2 data streams in the 2.4 GHz band and 3x3 data streams in the 5 GHz band, providing a real throughput of approximately 800–900 Mbit/s in the 5 GHz range. It features integrated antennas with gains of 5.5 dBi (2.4 GHz) and 8 dBi (5 GHz), ensuring solid Wi-Fi coverage in small homes or apartments. The Wi-Fi 6 access point hAP ax S is equipped with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, with port 5 supporting Passive PoE-Out to power external devices. Additionally, it includes an SFP slot supporting modules up to 2.5 Gb/s.

The device runs RouterOS v7 (license level 4), offering advanced features such as VLAN configuration, firewalls, VPN tunnels, traffic shaping, automation scripts, and SMS management.

The hAP ax S router can be powered in two ways: via a DC jack (12–28 V) or through an Ethernet port using Passive PoE-In (18–28 V). Ethernet port 5 supports Passive PoE-Out.
